DPFL Online League Season 8

The highly-anticipated Dart Players Florida (DPFL) Season 8 is just around the corner! We invite you to sign up and be part of the largest and most competitive online 501 money league globally. With over $25,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs, Season 8 is set to be a thrilling ride.

Last season, we saw participation from over 800 players, ranging from beginners to professional level players, proving that there is indeed a place for everyone at DPFL. All you need is a camera and a device to run DartConnect, and you are ready to join the competition.

Here is a detailed breakdown of the divisions based on player averages:

Premier Division: 75 and up
Division 1: 65-74.99
Division 2: 55-64.99
Division 3: 45-54.99
Division 4: 44.99 and below
Women’s Division: Open Average
Youth Division 1: 15-17 years
Youth Division 2: Age 14 and below

To qualify for a division, you need a DartConnect Competition Card. If you don't have one, don't worry, we can work with soft tip averages or other steel tip applications. However, please note, if we can't verify your average, we may move you to the closest division to prevent sandbagging.

At DPFL, we pride ourselves on our skill-based league, which includes a round-robin stage leading into a single elimination playoff tournament for those who advance. Unlike regular leagues, you have a whole week to complete each match, providing flexibility for our players.

Moreover, by participating in the league, you are automatically entered into the DPFL Supercups, a single elimination bracket competition funded and sponsored by our partners, run concurrently with the season.

Season 8 also introduces the DPFL Challenger Series for the second time, a special event for everyone who didn't make the playoffs.
Further, if you sign up for DPFL Memberships, you have the opportunity to qualify for the DPFL Champions Event in August 2024 and gain points in the DPFL Order of Merit, which could lead to qualifying for the DPFL Championship.

Season 8 will officially begin on July 2nd, 2023. Make sure to register before the cutoff on June 25th, 2023, at midnight. In the meantime, you can participate in our other events – make sure to check them out!

DPFL Online League Season 8 offers a platform for darts enthusiasts to participate and compete.
Here are some crucial details about the upcoming season:

Division Placement: Your assigned division for the league is primarily based on your DartConnect Competition Card. However, please note that DPFL Staff reserves the right to make necessary adjustments or changes to your division placement.

Division Choice: If you wish to participate in a division higher than your current average suggests, your average needs to be within 5 points of your chosen division. This is to ensure balanced competition and fair play.

Understanding the Rules: As participants, you are encouraged to familiarize yourself with the Online Darts Rules and Online Darts Etiquette. These guidelines promote fair play, respect among competitors, and help to maintain the integrity of the competition.

Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for a division, all you need is a DartConnect Competition Card. However, if you don't have one, don't worry. DPFL also accommodates soft tip averages or other steel tip applications. If your average can't be verified, DPFL might move you to the closest division to prevent sandbagging (underperforming deliberately).

Previous Season Participation: If you participated in DPFL Season 7, your division placement in Season 8 would be determined by your last season's average or the higher average (previous season or competition card). This rule is in place to prevent sandbagging, protect the players, and encourage the improvement of your game.
If you won or if you were in the Top 4 in the last Season youll be automatically placed a division higher!

Registration: Sign-ups for Season 8 will open soon. The season will officially kick off on Sunday, July 2nd, 2023. Please note that the cut-off for registrations is Sunday, June 25th, 2023, at midnight. Make sure to register on time to secure your spot in the competition.

To be eligible to participate you have to have at least an Dartconnect Competition Avg. of 70.00 and higher !

This guarantees the highest competition for everybody in this Division as well for the Pro's !

Format in our Highest Class will be 501 Best of 22 Single in Double out in the Round Robin and in the Playoffs Best of 23 SIDO.

This Division is for everybody in the range from

74.99 - 65.00 Dartconnect Competition Avg.

Usually Players in this range compete on a high level and are capable to shoot 80 Avg's in some matches or even higher... Scoring is really high only difference between a D1 and PD Player is the Checkout percentage and in my opinion their setup darts!

So if you are highly competitive and want to elevate your Game this is your Division

Must be within at least 60.00 Avg to compete against those boys !!

Format here will be 501 Best of 20 Single in Double out in the RR and Best of 21 SIDO in the Playoffs.

Since we have Players from all over the World, we created the ATP-Across the Pond Cup.

For all players overseas and not within North or Southamerica.

It will make it easier to schedule your Matches due to all the Time zones.

Overseas Player will NOT participate in the Dartbrokers Supercup due to the ATP Cup.

Format is 501 best of 11 Single in Double Out

Here as well 1-2 weeks to finish your Match!

we will have a challenger Series!

Means everybody get the chance to sign up again for this Event after they didnt make the Playoffs!

We will run it as a single Elimination event !

and everybody above 65.00 will be eligible to participate in it if the didnt make the playoffs after the Round Robin Stage !

Winner will receive additional to the Payouts, free entry to S9
