DPFL was founded in early 2020 by Tim Wey and Chris Clark.

It was a very simple concept that spurred from the lack of activity in the steel tip dart scene in the Tampa Florida area.

Tim and Chris came together to develop an in person singles league with one focus in mind; the players.

DPFL was born.

The league was developed around the idea that no one player

should be in the spotlight, as every player has an equal opportunity to play a fair competitive match. The first singles league was created with two divisions. (60 plus and 59 and below ppr) The interest started low and only 20 players signed up.......
